Fall Kids Field Trips
Field trips on the farm occur mornings Monday through Friday throughout October. Activities are designed for children in preschool through second grade and are centered around three activities.
Come enjoy an amazing field trip that is convenient, educational, and fun! Plant a tree with your class. Learn the parts of a tree, the importance of trees, their many uses, deciduous vs. evergreen and lots more. Each child will receive an activity book about trees.
- Enjoy a scenic hayride around the farm with a stop to feed the ginormous cat fish.
- Listen to a story about Too Many Pumpkins, Learn the difference between antlers vs horns and then feed the animals. Take a large pumpkin back to your classroom.
- Bring a blanket, a picnic lunch & enjoy farm life.
Each activity lasts about 30 min. and will accommodate about 25 students per group. Our guides have a combined teaching experience of over 100 years! Admission is $6 per child, $6 per parent, teachers and para-pros are free!!
