Boxwood 'Winter Gem' or 'Wintergreen'
Buxus microphylla japonica Boxwood 'Winter Gem' Evergreen Shrub 4' - 6'. A hardy boxwood which is outstanding as a hedge plant along driveways or walls. 'Winter Gem' takes on a bronze cast in winter and then turns back to a deep green during spring and summer. Small leaves are an attractive, shiny green.
English Boxwood 'Suffruticosa'
Buxus sempervirens Boxwood 'Suffruticosa' English boxwood. Small, evergreen leaves and a dense, rounded form. English boxwood is useful in a landscape as a low formal hedge plant or to use as a backdrop in a border garden. It is a low maintenance plant which is drought tolerant once established but should have regular watering during dry periods. Requires little pruning but can be shaped to individual preferences in the spring.
Buxus Variegata Variegated Boxwood Slow growing evergreen shrub 5' - 8'. Small dark green leaves with creamy white to yellow variegation on edges adds interest and color all year. Variegated Boxwood may be easily pruned into topiary shapes, used in mass planting or as a formal hedge. Also good for containers and foundation plantings.
